Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
TheRealFollowers Ltd. (“TheRealFollowers”, “we”, “us”) operates the social growth store at therealfollowers.com. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website and checkout.
Privacy questions and rights requests: privacy@therealfollowers.com.
2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy covers data we collect when you browse our store, use our free tools, place an order, or contact support. It does not cover third-party social networks. We do not receive private data from Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube on your behalf.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the store:
- Order details: public @username, channel handle, or content URL; package; delivery speed; order status.
- Contact email: for receipts, delivery updates, and support replies.
- Payment confirmation: from our payment processors (amount, status, last four digits where shown). We never store full card numbers.
- Support messages: if you email us or use chat.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, and pages viewed, used for security and fraud prevention.
- Cookie preferences: the choices you save in our consent banner.
- Free-tool inputs: numbers you enter in calculators run in your browser are processed locally and are not uploaded unless a tool page explicitly says otherwise.
4. Information we never collect
We never ask for or store:
- Passwords or login credentials of any kind.
- Private account data, direct messages, or follower lists.
- Access tokens, two-factor codes, or connected-app permissions.
Checkout is designed so we cannot collect credentials even by mistake. If anyone claiming to represent us asks for a password, it is not us.
5. How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- Fulfill and monitor orders, including 30-day refill protection.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Send receipts, service updates, and support replies.
- Improve store security and performance.
- Send marketing email only when you have opted in (you may opt out at any time).
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations for VAT-inclusive sales.
6. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract: to fulfill orders and provide refill guarantees.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the store, prevent abuse, and improve support quality, balanced against your rights.
- Consent: for optional cookies and marketing email.
- Legal obligation: for tax and accounting records.
7. Who we share data with
We share data only with processors that help us run the store, under contracts that require them to protect your data:
- Payment providers (for example Stripe) to process payments and prevent fraud.
- Hosting, CDN, and infrastructure providers.
- Email delivery services for receipts and support.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your order details with the social platforms you are growing on.
8. International transfers
Our processors may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by regulators.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies run checkout and security and cannot be switched off. Optional categories (preferences, analytics, marketing) are controlled by you through the consent banner on first visit and can be changed at any time. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
10. How long we keep data
Order records are kept for as long as needed to honor refill guarantees and meet legal obligations (typically tax law), then deleted or anonymized. Support conversations and security logs are kept only as long as useful for support quality, fraud prevention, and security, then deleted.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to staff and contractors who need it. Payment card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the store to hold the minimum data necessary.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to receive a portable copy. Email privacy@therealfollowers.com and we will respond within 30 days.
EEA and UK visitors may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that happened before withdrawal.
13. California and US state privacy rights
Residents of California and certain other US states may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information as those laws define it. To exercise your rights, email privacy@therealfollowers.com.
14. Marketing choices
If you receive promotional email from us, every message includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email privacy@therealfollowers.com to opt out. Service emails about an active order are not marketing and may still be sent while your order is open.
15. Children
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a minor has placed an order, contact us and we will delete associated personal data where the law allows.
16. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we update the “Last updated” date above and, where the change affects how we use data you already gave us, notify you by email before it takes effect where required by law.
